16-year-old teenager fighting for life after being shot in broad daylight in New York City, following an earlier shooting incident involving an 11-year-old boy.

A 16-year-old boy is fighting for his life after being shot in broad daylight on Tuesday in Queens, according to the police.

Authorities said that just hours before the shooting incident, an 11-year-old boy was shot at NYCHA’s Brownsville Houses in Brooklyn.

Around 1:30 p.m., the older teen was hit in the groin and left wrist on Dickens Street near Mott Avenue in the Rockaways, according to police.

An 85-year-old mother displayed immense bravery as she engaged in a gunfight with a masked intruder in an effort to protect her disabled loved one. Despite being handcuffed to a chair and sustaining four gunshot wounds, she managed to overpower and eliminate the threat. This remarkable act of heroism highlights the indomitable spirit and unwavering determination of a mother’s love.

The young boy was transported to Cohen Children’s Medical Center for treatment. Initially, he was in stable condition, but unfortunately, his condition deteriorated to critical by approximately 3:10 p.m., as reported by the authorities.

A tragic incident occurred just a few miles away from the White House during President Biden’s state dinner. In a shocking turn of events, one person lost their life, and five others were injured in a mass shooting. The incident serves as a stark reminder of the ongoing issue of gun violence in our society.

It is currently unclear what the motive for the violence was or whether the teenager was specifically targeted.

At present, there have been no arrests made and there is no immediate information available regarding the description of the suspect.

Late on Monday, a NYCHA building on the third floor became the scene of a shooting, where a young boy was shot in the arm. Fortunately, it is expected that he will make a full recovery.

Authorities are still investigating the motive behind the crime.
