Woman convicted of shooting man in face and neck in College Park, sentenced to lengthy prison term

In a recent court case in Fulton County, a College Park woman was found guilty of shooting a man in the face on September 11, 2021.

Alicia Kirk was taken into custody by College Park police following a “violent altercation” with her live-in partner, as reported by the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office.

According to the DA’s office, Kirk relocated to the residence along with a man. She brought along her four children, granddaughter, and mother as well.

According to the DA’s office, Kirk was originally expected to stay at the home for just two weeks. However, she ended up extending her stay to six weeks instead.
