A woman was arrested for stabbing a man on Tuesday. The 60-year-old Linda Archie was accused of assault with the intent to murder.
According to a press release from D.C. Police, officers responded to a complaint of a stabbing in the 900 block of 5th St. in Southeast, D.C. on Tuesday at approximately 3:45 p.m. Officers discovered Charmaine Smith, a 71-year-old male victim, with puncture wounds. He was transported to a nearby hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries on Saturday.
