Witness rescues baby from burning building in Spring Valley fire

Mocobizscene-Residents of a suburb north of New York City were forced to flee their multi-story apartment building on Saturday as thick smoke engulfed the premises. A courageous bystander witnessed the chaos and swiftly sprang into action, rescuing a precious 8-month-old girl from the uppermost floor.

The fire ignited in the apartment building during the afternoon, as confirmed by emergency officials. Numerous tenants found themselves in a challenging situation, attempting to flee as the hallways became engulfed in smoke.A brave individual from a nearby complex recounted his heroic act of rushing in. He climbed a tree and hopped a fence to access the building’s fire escape, all in an effort to reach the top floor and rescue the baby girl.

According to him, the 8-month-old girl was going to recover without any complications. However, officials reported that two individuals needed medical attention due to smoke inhalaAccording to Spring Valley Fire Chief Ken Conjura, over 75 firefighters from five different departments were able to quickly extinguish the fire in approximately 20 minutes.

According to Conjura, the fire originated in the kitchen of one of the apartments on the top floor, which is also the same unit from where the baby was rescued. The authorities are still investigating the cause of the fire.
