Walmart Evacuated After A Driver Crashed Into The Front Of The Store And Died

Mocobizscene – A woman in Kansas died after crashing into an area Walmart.

Wanda Hoyle, 69, was involved in a collision with a Walmart on South Kansas Avenue Friday morning, according to Newton Police.

Officials say she had a medical issue before the crash.

Her truck crashed through the front wall of the store and into the vision center.

After being transferred to the hospital with critical injuries, the first responders pronounced the woman deceased.

The Walmart store was evacuated due to structural damage to the building.

Newton Code enforcement ordered the store to remain closed until crews could inspect the structure.

No other injuries were reported.
