A ministry group in Kansas, known as the Topeka Statewide Ministry Group, is joyously commemorating its 50th anniversary of providing service to communities through its network of churches.
Rev. Tina Carter and Samuel C. Mitchell from Open Arms Ministries paid a visit to Eye on NE Kansas alongside Bishop Milton P. Jackson, Jr. of the Kansas Central Jurisdiction, an organization of Christian churches that includes Open Arms as a member.
The Kansas Central Jurisdiction is gearing up for its upcoming Golden Jubilee Celebration, scheduled for April 26. Bishop J. Drew Sheard, from the Church of God in Christ, Inc., has been announced as the special guest speaker for the event.
