Vehicle Owner Shoots and Kills Carjacker in South Philadelphia

Mocobizscene-According to Philadelphia Police, early this morning on the 1400 block of South Water Street in South Philadelphia, an unnamed black male, roughly between the ages of 18 and 22, allegedly tried to carjack a car. He was surprised to see that the 38-year-old man driver of the automobile was armed. After taking one bullet to the abdomen, the carjacker was declared dead by emergency personnel.

The vehicle owner contacted the police and is fully cooperating with the investigators. It is confirmed that he will not face any charges, according to the police. Although the police did not disclose the type of gun that was utilized, they do possess the weapon in question.
