The Los Angeles Fire Department’s first responders swiftly arrived at the scene to assist. Despite their valiant efforts to save the wounded pedestrian, the victim, whose identity remains undisclosed pending notification of the family, was pronounced dead upon reaching a nearby hospital. As stated in the LAPD’s news release, the driver responsible for the incident failed to fulfill their legal obligations by leaving the scene without providing any identification or aid to the injured pedestrian.
The West Traffic Division of the Los Angeles Police Department is currently investigating the case to uncover the factors that led to this heartbreaking incident. The question of whether drugs or alcohol played a role in the incident has yet to be answered.
