After working at the iconic coffee and donut chain, former employee Sav (@possiblysav) spilled her juicy secrets on TikTok.

FROZEN FRENZY

In a video shared on her account, she explained that everything, including the eggs, bagels, and munchkins, arrives frozen, even if they are made in-house at your local location.

Donut delivery for her Dunkin’ store typically occurs in the early hours of the morning, usually around 2 or 3 am. Although she didn’t disclose the specific location, she mentioned that the donuts are transported in a truck.

The bakery that provided those donuts was located approximately 30 to 40 minutes away.

“The donut you enjoy at 5 or 6 am on your way to work or to drop off your children is no different from the donut you have at 3 or 4 o’clock when you’re getting them something to eat.”

The U.S. Sun conducted their own investigation and reached out to several Dunkin’ employees for further information. An employee from a Dunkin’ Donuts in New York, located at 157 W 47th St., expressed uncertainty about the frequency of standard donut shipments. This is mainly due to the fact that most restaurants are franchises and have independent owners.

To the best of her knowledge, the Dunkin’ Donuts branch she frequents prepares freshly baked donuts each morning. In a recent TikTok video, Sav, a popular TikToker, shared the process of making iced teas and iced coffees.

According to her, the cold brews are stored in large plastic satchel containers that need to be replaced once a new batch is completed. However, this is not always the case. Sav mentioned that sometimes the workload is so high that you end up dealing with it throughout the entire day.

Sometimes, coffee and tea can get mixed up and switched back and forth, starting with tea and then coffee, and then tea again, and so on.

She also revealed a rather unpleasant revelation: food can occasionally be completely forgotten about. She mentioned that food often ends up sitting in the hot trays.

“I have a photo of a ham that was left sitting in the hot tray for about 12 hours because nobody removed the trays. We mistakenly assumed that they had already been cleaned.” She unveiled a picture of thinly sliced ham with a slightly brownish hue.

“I can’t believe that actually happens,” one user commented gratefully.

“Oh yeah! Some unpleasant things happen behind the scenes,” Sav replied.

UN-COOL-ATTAS

Dunkin’ offers a delightful frozen beverage that is described on their website as “a fun and refreshing drink that will surely bring a smile to your face.”

According to Sav, the reality is not as delicious as it may seem. She encouraged her followers to avoid getting Coolattas. According to a former insider, the Coolatta machine is rarely cleaned.

“I was appalled when I witnessed the rare occasion of the Coolatta machine at my primary location being cleaned. It was infested with mold, which was incredibly disgusting.”

According to her, the machine is rarely wiped down, even in between drinks. When you order a coffee Coolatta, there is a possibility that you might taste remnants of other flavors, such as blue raspberry.

She also offered a suggestion on how to reduce your caffeine consumption. She advised, “When ordering hot decaf coffee, it’s important to request a freshly brewed pot.”

“You usually end up with burnt decaf when it’s been left sitting there for a couple of hours.”

Another Dunkin’ employee revealed the drink that is packed with extra calories. In addition, discover the secrets to receiving complimentary food from your friendly Starbucks barista.
