Tragic pedestrian killed in Baldwin Hills while crossing the street

LOS ANGELES –Monday morning, shortly after midnight, a car in the Baldwin Hills neighborhood of Los Angeles struck and killed a pedestrian.

The collision happened at Obama and La Cienega boulevards at 12:03 in the morning, according to Officer A. Delatorre of the Operations Center of the Los Angeles Police Department. According to him, the pedestrian was utilizing La Cienega Boulevard, heading east.

According to Delatorre, the driver of the car stayed at the site. It was not immediately clear what the pedestrian’s age or gender was.
