According to police, a stabbing incident occurred near the bustling tourist hub of New York City, injuring a teenage boy. Multiple individuals are being questioned by the authorities in connection to the altercation.
Police reported that a 15-year-old boy was stabbed in the neck near the intersection of 44th Street and Seventh Avenue in Times Square on Thursday just after 8:30 p.m. The boy’s current condition remains unknown, but he is projected to recover from the incident.
According to police, the attack is currently under investigation and they are looking into the circumstances surrounding it. Several individuals have been taken into custody for questioning, including a 67-year-old tour bus ticket salesman, an 18-year-old, and three 16-year-olds. At this time, it is unclear what charges they may face.
Bellevue Hospital is currently treating a 24-year-old man who was stabbed. Despite the severity of his injuries, medical professionals are optimistic about his chances of survival.
Authorities were searching for multiple suspects in relation to the attack that occurred in lower Manhattan. The events that led to the violence remain unclear at this time.
