Teenage boy arrested by MPD for burglarizing residences in Washington DC

Mocobizscene- The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) announced the arrest of a teenage boy for residential burglaries in Northwest D.C. The MPD successfully apprehended the suspect involved in the burglaries.

On January 28th, at approximately 7:55 a.m., the suspect forcibly entered a residence in the 1400 block of 3rd St. NW. Upon being confronted by the victim, the suspect proceeded to issue threats, causing the individual to retreat to a nearby room.

The suspect ran away from the scene. Another revelation emerged that the suspect had also unlawfully entered another occupied residence prior to targeting the aforementioned home. A 16-year-old boy has been taken into custody and is facing charges of Burglary One and Burglary Two.
