Mocobizscene- A male, aged 19, was fatally shot in the back at approximately 2:13 p.m. on January 8, 2024, in Indian Head, Maryland. The gunshot transpired in the vicinity of Jameson Court, and emergency personnel discovered the deceased in a residence.
Upon receiving urgent medical attention, the Maryland State Police Aviation Command airlifted the victim to a trauma center. An area designated as the MEDEVAC landing zone was established at Indian Head Elementary School.
No suspect descriptions have been provided to the Charles County Sheriff’s Office; the investigation is ongoing.
