Suspect arrested in relation to December homicide in Prince George’s County

Mocobizscene- The Prince George’s County Police Department (PGPD) announced that they have arrested in connection with a tragic shooting incident that occurred in late December.

On December 28, 2023, at approximately 3 p.m., law enforcement authorities were called to the scene of a shooting in the 900 block of St. Michaels Drive in Bowie.

The police apprehended an 18-year-old named Harvey Barnes III from Upper Marlboro. He stands accused of the murder of Timothy Emmanuel Jones, a 37-year-old resident of Washington, D.C.

According to officials, Barnes is responsible for shooting Jones following a disagreement. Barnes faces charges of first and second-degree murder as well as related offences.
