Soldiers Reunite with Overseas Rescue Dogs with the Help of ‘Paws of War’

On Thursday, a heartwarming reunion took place as several U.S. soldiers were able to reunite with the adorable pups they had rescued during their service in Eastern Europe.

“Paws of War” facilitated the adoption process for soldiers from various locations, including Colorado, who had come to Suffolk County.

During their tour overseas, the soldiers had their first encounter with the dogs.

They discovered the animals starving and frightened, and constructed a shelter to provide them with safety and comfort.

Paws of War intervened when they departed from the region.

Thursday’s event was a tremendous success, as it enabled the organization to raise funds that will be used to rescue more animals. These animals will go on to serve as beloved pets for U.S. soldiers.
