Mocobizscene- Images of a man and woman who police claim forcefully entered into a Staten Island home earlier this week and attacked a mother, stabbing her in the leg, were made public by the police on Thursday.
Two unidentified persons forced open the front door of a house near Hygeia Place and Boyd Street in Stapleton Heights on Monday at approximately 2:34 p.m., according to police. Following their entry, the suspects began punching the victim, a 23-year-old mother and her son, inside the home.
According to the police complaint, one of the suspects then gave the victim a leg knife wound before robbing her of her money, mobile phone, wallet, social security card, and EBT card. The burglars then fled on foot from the scene.
In stable condition, the victim was brought to Richmond University Medical Center. Currently, police are searching for the two suspects. The male suspect’s last clothing items included a black ski mask, gray sweatpants, and a black hooded sweatshirt.
The last things the female suspect was spotted sporting were black sweatpants, a black sweatshirt, and black and white sneakers.
