Shooting in a Neighborhood in Northwest Harris County Leaves 1 Dead and 1 in Critical Condition, According to Sheriff’s Office

Texas (mocobizscene) – According to the sheriff’s office, an investigation was initiated on Friday evening after two individuals were discovered with gunshot wounds in northwest Harris County.

The incident took place at the 6800 block of Trail Valley Way, in close proximity to Ray L. Shotwell Middle School.

Sheriff Ed Gonzalez took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to report on the tragic discovery of one of the victims. According to the Sheriff’s statement, a man was found dead in a parked car, the victim of apparent gunshot wounds.

According to Gonzalez, the second victim was discovered in a nearby location and was immediately rushed to the hospital in a critical condition.

Law enforcement officials stated that although the suspect fled the area, no further details were given regarding the incident.

Investigators are currently on their way to the location of the incident.
