Several Residents From Chester Taken Into Custody During Multi-County Drug Operation

MocobizsceneThe New York State Police has recently made arrests in connection with a narcotics investigation that lasted several months. Seven individuals from Chester and two individuals from Warwick have been taken into custody.

According to the police report, several individuals from Chester were involved in the incident. James Baltimore, 36, has been charged with two counts of criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree and criminal possession of a controlled substance in the second degree. Antonio Bucci, 28, faces charges of criminal sale of a controlled substance in the first degree and conspiracy in the second degree. Christopher Bucci, 58, has been charged with criminal sale of a controlled substance in the third degree. Michael Curtis, 32, is facing charges of criminal sale of a controlled substance in the third degree. Jennifer Curtis, 31, has been charged with conspiracy in the fourth degree. Klerisa Peterson, 30, also faces charges of conspiracy in the fourth degree. Justin Peterson, 29, has been charged with conspiracy in the fourth degree as well.

62-year-old Anthony Bucci Jr. and 31-year-old David Rinaldi, both residents of Warwick, have been charged with conspiracy in the fourth degree.

Several other suspects were apprehended by the police in addition to those from the Bronx. These individuals include Tyler Zaborski, Lester Zaborski, Marcus Hicks, and Dominick Deluccia. Furthermore, one person from Mamakating, identified as Markaj Narkaj, was also taken into custody in Sullivan County.

According to the police report, New York State Police carried out 11 search warrants at residences in both the Bronx and Orange County on December 7. The search warrants were executed as a result of a two and a half month-long narcotics investigation.

The Violent Gang Narcotics Enforcement Team, along with the Community Stabilization Unit and the Orange County District Attorney’s Office, launched an investigation into a drug trafficking organization that was involved in smuggling illegal substances from New York City to Orange County.

NY State Police reportedly seized over two kilograms of cocaine, 17 pounds of cannabis, an unspecified quantity of fentanyl pills, an unspecified amount of cash, and eight illegal firearms by executing the 11 warrants. A total of 14 arrests were made, with four individuals currently being held in Orange County Jail: Baltimore, Antonio Bucci, Tyler Zaborski, and Lester Zaborski.

The police report states that the authorities released the nine additional individuals who were apprehended. Some were released on their own recognizance, while others were given appearance tickets. The investigation is currently underway, and authorities anticipate making further arrests as the case progresses.
