Seattle building hit by a bus resulting in at least 11 injuries, according to fire department

Officials have confirmed that a public bus collided with a building in Seattle on Saturday evening, resulting in injuries to 11 individuals. One of the injured is reported to be in critical condition.

According to a statement from the Seattle Fire Department, a building situated at the intersection of 5th Avenue and Terrace Street in downtown Seattle was hit by a Sound Transit bus at around 7 p.m.

Upon arrival, emergency responders swiftly conducted an “extrication response” and assisted all passengers in disembarking the vehicle. According to the department, every individual was able to safely exit the vehicle on their own.

According to officials, eleven grown-up passengers were taken to nearby hospitals. The department stated that all of them, except one, were in stable condition.

According to the department, a 54-year-old male was treated by the crews in critical condition. The patient in critical condition was then transported to Harborview Medical Center by the paramedics.
