A road rage incident that was captured on video ended in tragedy as an Indianapolis man lost his life after being shot at point-blank range by another driver. Shockingly, the man who fired the fatal shots has been released by the police.
As seen in the footage, a man hastily approaches the driver’s side of a white truck, brandishing what appears to be a firearm while shouting and striking the other driver’s door in a fit of rage on Tuesday.
Pay close attention to the video because as he rushes towards the car, he holds the gun in his right hand. However, as he reaches the door, he swiftly switches the weapon to his left hand before raising his arm and pointing it.
The moment the other driver brandished his own firearm and discharged three fatal rounds was pivotal.
Indianapolis Police have identified the victim as Gavin Dasaur, who drops to the ground in clear distress.
According to TMZ, the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department received a report of a shooting incident after 8 PM on Tuesday. Upon arriving at the location, they discovered Dasaur with gunshot wounds and immediately rushed him to a nearby hospital. Unfortunately, he was declared dead upon arrival at the hospital.
According to reports, the authorities apprehended the perpetrator on-site, but subsequently released him after consulting with the Marion County Prosecutor’s Office. It was speculated that the incident could have been an act of self-defense, leading to the suspect’s release.
Recently, Dasaur tied the knot with Cinthya ZaMora. She firmly believes that her beloved husband did not deserve to lose his life and was, in fact, a victim of a senseless and cruel murder.
