According to TMZ, there are new court documents that reveal Jeezy’s alleged request for full custody of his and Jeannie Mai’s 2-year-old daughter, Monaco.
According to the documents, it has been reported by the news outlet that Jeannie Mai is not personally taking care of their child. Jeezy is now requesting the judge to invalidate their current custody and parenting time agreement, which was previously settled in mediation, and is asking for full-time custody of their daughter. Initially, when the breakup occurred, Jeezy agreed to move to the basement, but Jeannie moved out of their home, taking their daughter with her.

According to TMZ, Jeezy has claimed that ever since they moved out of their home, Jeannie Mai has not been taking care of the baby most of the time. He has alleged that due to her frequent travels, she has assigned the responsibility to her brother and mother. Jeezy has also mentioned that Jeannie Mai has not been fulfilling her part in terms of providing him with parenting time for almost two months. In the legal documents, Jeezy expresses his belief that his daughter would have a more stable environment if he were to have primary physical custody.
According to Radar Online, Jeezy and Jeannie Mai had initially agreed on a visitation schedule, but it seems that things did not go as planned. The rapper’s lawyer stated in the filing that the inconsistent and unstable parenting time schedule was causing stress to the child. This haphazard and fluid schedule has resulted in unnecessary tension and confusion regarding each parent’s role and rights when the child is in their custody.
Jeezy, in the filing, mentioned that he does not think Mai is intentionally trying to harm their relationship with their child. However, he does believe that she is acting as a gatekeeper. Jeezy expressed that Mai’s interference in his relationship with their child, although not malicious, is causing confusion and tension between them and is hindering the development of his relationship with the child.

According to the documents, she emphasized that she has been granting Jeezy access to their daughter and even extended his time with her due to the holiday season. In a statement from her lawyer, it was made clear that Jeannie’s request for reasonable safety measures, such as securely storing firearms and ensuring trained caregivers, is not an act of gatekeeping but rather a responsible effort to prioritize their daughter’s well-being.
According to her legal team, Ms. Jenkins’ primary motivation in making these requests is her genuine concern for the safety and security of their daughter, particularly when she is in the care of others and when they are traveling long distances.
