Mocobizscene- Multiple drivers were detained by officers from the Los Angeles Police Department’s Central Division after they participated in an illegal street takeover on the 6th Street Bridge.
The authorities did not reveal the exact time when the takeover was reported. However, they did mention that it happened during the night while people were asleep.
“When the participants arrived, they took immediate action by shutting down the bridge. The officers on the scene witnessed numerous violations,” stated the department on X, formerly known as Twitter.
After their escape, the suspects were apprehended in the lower grand tunnel area of the bridge. The LAPD has reported that over 30 vehicles were seized as a result of the illicit street takeover
