Mocobizscene- A 15-year-old has been arrested for a series of robberies in which young victims were robbed at knifepoint, according to the NYPD. This marks the second arrest in connection with these incidents.
Police have announced the arrest of a 15-year-old male this morning in connection with the two armed robberies. It is believed that this suspect is the one who held the knife during the robberies.
The police have charged the suspect with robbery, but they are not releasing his name because he is a minor. In addition, another 15-year-old was arrested in connection with the previous robbery.
Just 24 hours after police released the suspect’s photo in an attempt to gather tips, the latest arrest has been made.
On December 1, at approximately 1 pm, a 15-year-old boy was walking on 138th Street and Amsterdam Avenue near The City College of New York. According to the police, two young men approached him, with one of them brandishing a knife. The duo forcefully took the teenager’s belongings before fleeing the scene.
The two individuals fled, attracting the attention of pursuing police officers. The officers managed to apprehend one of the suspects involved in the robbery. As the suspect is a minor of 15 years, the authorities are unable to disclose his identity.
