Mocobizscene- Three adolescents have been apprehended in Bethesda, Maryland, on suspicion of assaulting and carjacking a 72-year-old woman. Carjacking, assault, and larceny have been filed charges against the 18-year-old, 15-year-old, and 16-year-old suspects. Additionally, the sixteen-year-old was sought for a prior carjacking.
The incident transpired during the woman’s walk to her vehicle. The suspects apprehended her, demanded her keys and personal belongings, and then fled in her vehicle.
At the intersection of Georgia Avenue and Seminary Road, where they conducted a traffic stop and apprehended the suspects, police discovered the stolen vehicle.
The individual aged 15, who was sent to a juvenile detention centre, was transferred to the Montgomery County Central Processing Unit, whereas those aged 18 and 16 were transported there. Additionally, the 15-year-old was implicated in an armed carjacking that took place the day before.
