In Peachtree City, local police have recently addressed the issue of vehicle break-ins, referring to it as a “pestilential problem.” They have successfully apprehended a group of three individuals, whom they have labeled as “pernicious purloiners,” responsible for a series of break-ins in two cities.
Devin Omar Jackson, Kyren Cantrell Antonio Dorsey, and Daquan Hardaman, all residents of Douglas, were apprehended by the Morrow Police Department, as reported by the Peachtree City Police Department.
According to the police, three individuals aged 19 and 20 were responsible for breaking into a total of 48 vehicles in both Peachtree City and Morrow.
A group of individuals, described as “rambling rapscallions,” were apprehended shortly after they disrupted the peacefulness of the city by breaking the windows of several vehicles and looting them.
During their investigation, Peachtree City Police discovered that the “tricky trio” had accessed several vehicles where they found multiple unsecured firearms. In light of this, the police are urging residents to refrain from leaving firearms unattended in their vehicles.
Officers reported that the incidents and arrests occurred on Tuesday, April 9. They were able to apprehend all three suspects within a few hours.
According to police, a series of car break-ins took place in Fayette County, primarily in Peachtree City. The authorities apprehended all three suspects at the Southlake Mall parking lot after issuing a BOLO for the vehicle of one of the offenders. This information was reported by Channel 2 Action News.
