Police Find Dead Woman in Prince George’s County Home During Welfare Check

Mocobizscene- When police were summoned to the 800 block of St. James Court on Saturday morning at around 9:40 a.m. for a welfare check, they discovered a woman there who had suffered severe injuries. At the scene, she was pronounced deceased.

“Preliminarily, detectives don’t believe this is a random crime,” according to the police, who also stated that the neighborhood is not currently under threat. Regarding the victim, no details were disclosed.

Investigations are still ongoing.
