Police Arrest Suspect in Shooting During Bronx Restaurant Robbery

The NYPD has apprehended a suspect in the shooting incident that took place inside a restaurant. In this incident, the gunman targeted a customer who was sitting at the counter and shot them in the back of the head.

The NYPD has made an arrest in the case involving the 37-year-old suspect, Heiton Camacho Bonilla from Amsterdam Avenue. Bonilla has been charged with a range of crimes, including attempted murder, robbery, assault, criminal use of a firearm, criminal possession of a weapon, and reckless endangerment.

The atmosphere was filled with a sense of menace.

The investigators have not provided any information regarding the motive behind the gunman shooting the victim, despite the victim complying with the instructions to hand over his cell phone and money.

The NYPD has released a gripping video showing a robber brandishing a blue handgun and pointing it at the back of a diner’s head. The incident took place at Seafood King Fish Market, located at Broadway and West 163rd Street.

The investigators revealed that the robber had visited the restaurant prior to the incident. The victim received treatment at Metropolitan Hospital.

The sequence of tragic events unfolded in the early hours of December 6th. A masked man, dressed in black, entered the Seafood King Fish Market and placed a food order. Shortly after, he left the premises. Approximately ten minutes later, the same individual returned and made use of the restaurant’s bathroom. It was during this time that the victim was seated at the counter, enjoying a meal.

Shortly after, the man in black emerged from the bathroom brandishing a blue handgun. He forcefully demanded cash from the register, as well as the cell phones of both the victim and the worker. Complying with his demands, the employee handed over the contents of the register, which the gunman promptly stashed in a bag. Simultaneously, the cashier and the patron surrendered their cell phones.

The shooter quickly exited the restaurant and escaped on foot, his whereabouts unknown.
