Mocobizscene- After several days on the run, a Louisiana prisoner, who was originally held on Attempted Murder Charges, has been apprehended and is now back in jail.
The prisoner, Kimmy Dauntain Jr, a 17-year-old from Orleans Parish, made a daring escape from the custody of authorities in Franklin, Louisiana, last week. He had been transported to attend a family member’s funeral.

After escaping, Dauntain’s immediate whereabouts were shrouded in mystery. He managed to elude capture for three days until an unexpected turn of events occurred – his parents made a call to the authorities.
The location of the 17-year-old was actually brought to the attention of authorities by his parents.
Dauntain was apprehended and returned to custody by the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office after his whereabouts were determined. The Sheriff’s Office promptly announced on their social media platforms that Dauntain was back in custody as of 11:11am on Sunday, February 4th.
