Mocobizscene-In Miami Gardens, Florida, a high school student was taken into custody on Wednesday following the discovery of weapons on the school grounds, according to officials from the Miami-Dade County district.
School officials at Miami Carol City Senior High School in Miami Gardens received an anonymous tip about a potential weapon on campus. Miami Dade Schools Police were promptly notified, and following a comprehensive investigation, they discovered the weapons and apprehended a student, according to officials.
According to a statement from a school district spokesperson, all students and staff are confirmed to be safe. The spokesperson emphasized the significance of reporting any suspicious activity, highlighting the collective effort needed to maintain a safe environment for children in schools.
