The organizer of a stunt driving event in Carroll County, which attracted a crowd of a thousand people, has come forward to share his side of the story following the arrest of several individuals. He asserts that he possesses video evidence showing deputies giving him permission to proceed with the event.
In an interview with Channel 2 Action News reporter Candace McCowan, Torres Clark admits to organizing the lot party in the Kennedy Estates neighborhood on April 20.
Clark described the event as a gathering for content creators and YouTubers, where participants engaged in activities like spinning in circles on what they believed to be private property.
The party led to the arrest of at least 10 individuals. While some were charged for their actions in close proximity to the event, one person was specifically charged for promoting the party, which involved dangerous activities like stunt driving and spinning. However, Torres, who claims to be the organizer, believed they would not face any legal consequences due to their interactions with the Carroll County Sheriff’s deputies.
According to Torries, in other videos, the deputies on the scene gave indications that the event could proceed as long as the attendees adhered to the rules.
Another person warned, “You will be arrested if I see you on the road when I return.”
