One person killed in Westmoreland, Kansas tornado, according to authorities

Authorities have confirmed that one person lost their life after a tornado tore through Westmoreland, Kansas on Monday evening.

The Pottawatomie County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson confirmed the tragic loss of life. However, further information regarding the incident is not currently accessible.

According to the spokesperson, the tornado swept through the town at approximately 4:40 p.m.

The earthquake also wreaked havoc across the city.

Westmoreland, a charming town, is conveniently located just a two-hour drive west of Kansas City, Missouri.
