One of three individuals attempting to break into a Cadillac is shot and killed by the owner

Late Monday night in Atlanta, a person was fatally shot during an attempted car break-in.

According to a spokesperson from the Atlanta Police Department, officers were dispatched to a report of a shooting at 11:30 p.m. They discovered the lifeless body of a man at the intersection of Auburn Avenue and Bell Street.

A red Cadillac owner bravely confronted three individuals attempting to break into his car, ultimately resulting in the fatal shooting of one suspect, according to the police.

The Cadillac owner, along with the other two suspects, was shot and is currently in stable condition at Grady Memorial Hospital, as confirmed by the police.

The officers are currently reviewing video footage of the incident in order to ascertain the precise details of what transpired.

The authorities have not yet identified any individuals connected to this shooting incident.
