Officials Seek Public Accounts Of Earthquake Felt In New York City

Mocobizscene- According to the city’s emergency notification system, an earthquake was reported in the Big Apple on Tuesday. Officials have reported that a 1.7 magnitude trembler took place near Astoria, Queens.

According to Notify NYC, as of Tuesday morning, there have been no reports of damage or injuries in the city.

The U.S. Geological Survey is advising residents to report any effects or aftershocks they experienced. This information can be submitted at https://earthquake.usgs.gov/dyfi/.
