Mocobizscene- Armed robbers recently carried out a series of four incidents in the Bronx and Manhattan, resulting in the theft of over $100,000 worth of cash and jewelry, according to the authorities on Monday.
According to the NYPD, at approximately 7:20 a.m. on January 29th, three individuals were approached by the suspects, who arrived in a black car. The victims, a 40-year-old man, a 38-year-old woman, and a 27-year-old woman, were threatened with a gun. During the incident, one of the robbers struck the man in the face with the weapon, resulting in minor injuries.
According to authorities, the perpetrators made off with a total of $115,000 from their three victims, which included a combination of cash, jewelry, and a watch, before fleeing the scene.
In the Bronx, at approximately 10:50 p.m., a worker, aged 34, and a 16-year-old boy were robbed by a group of four suspects. The incident occurred near 1168 Burnett Pl. The thieves swiftly entered a nearby store and managed to steal $400 worth of merchandise before fleeing the scene in a dark-colored sedan, according to the police.
The NYPD suspects that the crew is responsible for two additional armed robberies in Manhattan last month. No arrests have been made.
