NYPD Appeals to Public for Assistance in Union Square Subway Robbery Investigation

NEW YORK CITY, NY – The New York City Police Department is investigating a robbery in the Union Square subway station. They are reaching out to the public for help identifying the suspect involved in the incident.

In the early hours of Monday morning, January 15, at approximately 2:20 am, a 28-year-old man became the victim of an incident. According to the victim’s account, an unknown man attacked him from behind at the station, demanding his belongings.

The thief managed to grab the victim’s backpack and quickly fled on foot, disappearing in an unknown direction. Thankfully, the victim emerged from the incident unharmed.
