NOPD Requests Local Assistance in Finding Stolen U.S. Capitol Police Badge

Mocobizscene- To locate a stolen U.S. Capitol Police Badge, the New Orleans Police Department (NOPD) is asking for assistance from the public. December 15, 2023 was the date the theft was reported. After visiting many establishments on Bourbon Street, the victim discovered his wallet—including the badge—was stolen.

The theft most likely happened on the 700 block of Bourbon about three in the morning. For reference, a picture of the badge (number #4286) has been provided.

The NOPD asks anybody with information regarding the theft or where the badge is to call Crimestoppers at (504) 822-1111 or the Eighth District at (504) 658-6080.
