A fatal gunshot is under investigation by homicide detectives of the New Orleans Police in the 14700 block of Chef Menteur Highway.
Tuesday at 5:20 p.m., officers were dispatched to the scene in response to a report of a gunshot, according to the police.
“Upon arrival, officers located one unresponsive juvenile male inside of a residence who sustained at least one gunshot wound,” according to a statement from police. “The victim was declared deceased on scene.”
