Mocobizscene- The Newark police have shared surveillance images of five individuals who are being sought in connection with an armed robbery at a Jamaican restaurant on 18th Avenue. Authorities are reaching out to the public in the hopes of identifying any of the suspects depicted in the photographs.
At 3:15 p.m. on February 15th, five armed men wearing masks entered Carlos’ Kitchen, according to the police. Carlos Smith, the owner of the restaurant, recounts how he had briefly stepped away from his establishment when the unexpected incident occurred.
Carlos Smith expresses his disbelief, stating that he does not deserve the treatment he is receiving. He emphasizes his contributions to the community and how he has always been helpful to everyone around him.
Huntley Smith’s father has made a full recovery from the incident where he was hit over the head. However, despite this, he still doesn’t feel safe.
