New York police save youngster from bridge barely meters from trains

On the 19th of October, a police officer in Queens, New York, heroically rescued a teenager who was hanging over train tracks. The child had scaled the side of the overpass to get a better view of the passing trains.

As the emergency services come to the teenager’s rescue, the sound of a blaring train horn can be heard in the background.

Commanding Officer of NYPD 108th Precinct, Captain Tony Wong, described his experience as “just another day on the job.”

Officers Ksepka and Czerniawski are being praised for their heroic actions in rescuing a teenager from falling off the side of the Sunnyside Bridge. Their quick thinking and bravery undoubtedly prevented a tragedy from occurring.
