New Jersey Man Charged With Killing Father At Franklin Lakes House

A man from New Jersey is in custody on suspicion that he murdered his father, age 87, in their Franklin Lakes shared residence.

Sunday morning, when police arrived at the residence on Haddon Place, they discovered the remains of George Hagal. David, his 60-year-old son, was subsequently apprehended.

The police have not disclosed information regarding how the victim was murdered or a potential motive.
