Four people have tragically lost their lives and five others have sustained injuries following a devastating crash on southbound Interstate 75 in Bartow County.
Bartow County Coroner Joel Guyton has confirmed that four individuals, including three adults and a 15-year-old, lost their lives in the tragic accident. At this time, their identities have not been disclosed.
The crash occurred at approximately 6 p.m. close to mile marker 286. According to the Georgia State Patrol, a Kia van was traveling northbound on I-75 when it veered off the road and crossed the grass median into the southbound lanes.
A van collided with a Chevy Tahoe and a Toyota 4Runner, both of which were also struck by a commercial truck. According to troopers, a Hyundai SUV also rear-ended the Tahoe.
