Missing Colorado woman since Oct. 25 raises concerns

Law enforcement officials are expressing high levels of concern for a woman who has been reported missing since she traveled to the Denver area to meet someone.

It has been a week since 25-year-old Britani Meek has been seen or heard from, according to the Colorado Bureau of Investigation.

Meek was last seen in the 600 block of South Birch in Yuma, Colorado, early on the morning of October 25th. She has not made contact with anyone since 3 p.m. the same day. Yuma is situated on the far northeastern side of the state, close to the state lines of Nebraska and Kansas, approximately two hours from Denver.

The Colorado Bureau of Investigation has expressed concern for her safety, according to reports from law enforcement.

According to the CBI, Meek informed her family about her trip to Denver. According to reports, Meek is a petite woman standing at only 5 feet and weighing 108 pounds. She has striking red hair and beautiful brown eyes. It is believed that she may be driving a blue 1987 Pontiac Bonneville with Colorado license plate BPCQ07.
