Maryland Woman Arrested for Attempting to Kidnap Child from Stroller on DC Metrobus

Mocobizscene-Christina Marie Acker, aged 38, was apprehended by Metro Transit Police in DC after an incident occurred on a P12 Metrobus on Friday, December 15. Ironically, the incident took place on public transit.

The agency issued an alert on the day of the attempted kidnapping when a Silver Spring resident allegedly tried to take a young child from a stroller while riding the bus.

The incident occurred at approximately 1:30 p.m. on December 15th in Southeast DC, close to the Maryland state line.

Tipsters provided assistance in apprehending Acker at the Congress Heights Metro station. She was arrested without any additional complications. Pending charges are being assessed.
