Mocobizscene- A man who was captured on camera throwing a rock at a Miami restaurant on Christmas day is being sought by the police.
Around midnight, surveillance video captured a man approaching Mason Ria de Vigo, a recently opened restaurant on Coral Way and SW 14th Avenue. In a deliberate act, he threw a rock at the front door, causing the glass to shatter.
Restaurant co-owner Fayez Tanous expressed his frustration regarding the incident, stating, “The employees dedicated so much time and effort, only for someone to come along and spoil Christmas.”
According to Tanous, the restaurant has been vandalized multiple times since they opened their doors. According to Tanous, the business has experienced three additional incidents of vandalism with graffiti in the past month alone.
Tanous expressed his concerns about the recent acts of vandalism in the area. He mentioned that a rock was thrown at the front door and other nearby buildings were also damaged. Tanous hopes that this will be the final incident and urges the police to take note of the situation.
The police are currently searching for a man who was wearing jeans and a dark shirt at the time of the incident.
“We hope that someone recognizes this individual and that he faces the consequences for his actions,” expressed Tanous with determination.
