The investigators investigating homicide for the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide Unit are hard at work figuring out what happened when a male White adult was shot to death in Santa Clarita.
Deputies from the Santa Clarita Sheriff’s Station responded to a report of gunfire in the 25700 block of Vista Fairways Drive on Sunday, December 31, 2023, at around 4:26 AM. More information as they were approaching the location revealed that there was a car blocking the road.
When the deputies arrived, they found a male who seemed to have been shot in the head sitting in the driver’s seat of the vehicle. The victim was quickly taken by the LA County Fire Department to a nearby hospital, where he was subsequently declared dead.
There is currently no one in custody as a suspect, and no details about the attacker are known. There are currently few information available about the incident, and the inquiry is still ongoing.
The Homicide Bureau of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department is urging anyone with knowledge about this incident to come forward.
