Man beaten with baseball bat after making anti-Jewish slurs

NEW YORK: Officers need your assistance in locating a suspect in a hate crime.

It occurred on Monday at 2:30 p.m. on Staten Island, close to Grandview and Netherland Avenues, according to the police. The 25-year-old victim claimed the suspect made anti-Semitic remarks and questioned him whether he was Jewish before hitting him with a metal bat.

The sufferer sustained a cut on the back of his skull, which required hospitalization and treatment. Police are looking into the event as a possible hate crime. The suspect, who is 5’11” and is roughly 40 years old, was last seen with green jeans, a black ski cap, tan boots, and a blue jacket on.
