Man, 91, injured during violent attempted robbery in Upper East Side

Mocobizscene-At the age of 91, Hyman Silverglad is afflicted with renal failure and cancer, among other illnesses. However, nothing has caused him as much suffering and trauma as a heinous robbery that occurred in close proximity to his Upper East Side residence.

“At the same time, I was yelling for law enforcement.” “He then threw me to the sidewalk with both hands, and I landed on my back,” Silverglad reported to PIX11 from his hospital bed.

Last Thursday, while he was running errands near 86th Street and First Avenue, an attempted robbery occurred.
