Mocobizscene- Early Monday morning, law enforcement apprehended a man driving erratically in a stolen vehicle in Old Orchard Beach. Upon further investigation, it was discovered that the man was in possession of drugs and a firearm.
Driver was Backing Up and Driving the Wrong Way
Veexay Dethsy, a resident of New York, was found by the Old Orchard Beach Police Department traveling in the wrong direction and reversing on East Grand Avenue.
Police Pulled Vehicle after Erratic Driving
Dethsy was pulled over by the police and subsequently apprehended at a nearby gas station, as reported by WGME News.
Marijuana, Cocaine and a Gun Seized after Search
Police officers discovered that the vehicle had been stolen and proceeded to conduct a thorough search. During the search, law enforcement officials uncovered a significant amount of marijuana, cocaine, and a firearm inside the vehicle.
Ongoing Investigation
Dethsy continues to face multiple charges as the investigation remains open.
