Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department needs public help finding a missing Lakewood epilepsy patient

The LASD has reached out to the public for help in finding David Eugene Jones, a 57-year-old Lakewood resident who has gone missing. Jones was last seen yesterday on the 3200 block of South Street, and is described as a white male who stands at 5’9″ tall, weighs 175 lbs, and has gray hair and hazel eyes. At the time of his disappearance, Jones was wearing a blue shirt and blue pants, according to the LASD.

Jones’s epilepsy diagnosis has compounded the urgency of locating him as he requires daily medication. The worry of Jones’ relatives is echoed in this plea for public assistance, highlighting the gravity of the situation and the need for his safe return.
