League City Police Officer Shot And Killed A Man Who Was Suspected Of Stealing A Car In Walmart Parking Lot

LEAGUE CITY, Texas — In the Walmart parking lot on Saturday, a League City police officer shot and killed a man who was suspected of stealing an automobile.

This incident occurred at the Walmart on FM 646 Road close to the Gulf Freeway, just after 3:30 p.m.

Police in League City Before traveling to League City, the carjacker, according to Captain Harold Lee, stole a car from a man in Houston earlier in the day. According to Lee, his department’s license plate reader camera detected the stolen car, indicating its presence in the city.

According to Lee, the carjacker was not inside the vehicle when police located it in the Walmart parking lot after searching for it. Police held out for the thief.
